Bicycle Film Festival

The International Bicycle Film Festival has been a platform to celebrate all things bicycle through music, art and, of course film since 2001 in up to 15 cities worldwide.
I was part of an excitable bunch of local cycling types who formed the committee to host the festival and run a program of  bike culture events leading upto the International Bicycle Film Festival 2008.
My roll (pardon the pun) included: event design, co-ordination, design for comms material and the ‘hazard’ safety outfit for the laneway fashion show.
The program: Bikes Rock: Opening party, Road: Art exhibition, Road:mystery tour photo exhibition, Road:Edge ‘fashion’ show, Bikes for transport – yeah Picnic.
The Sydney chapter of the festival attracted around 1700 participants.
